The project is implemented by the Center for Regulatory Impact Assessment is a Bulgarian independent non-governmental expert organization which was founded in 2011 for pursuing activity in public benefit.
The mission of the Center is to encourage the adoption of the rules of good governance, better regulation and smart regulation in Bulgaria and to popularize the principle “Less is more” in the sphere of legislation.
The main objectives of the Center are related to enhancing the adoption of the good European practices and standards for regulatory impact assessment as a compulsory mechanism in the drafting, discussion, implementation and enforcement of the normative acts in Bulgaria.
The organization has a three-layer body structure including a collective supreme body – the Board of Trustees, a one-man managing body – the Director and an expert body – the Consultative Board.
